1. Acceptance of Terms
By visiting this website, submitting an inquiry, or booking a session, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use this website or our services.
2. Services We Provide
Ultimate Blissful Massage offers professional therapeutic massage services performed by Lula Carter, a Certified Massage Therapist licensed in the State of California. Services may include Swedish massage, deep tissue, prenatal, lymphatic drainage, and chair massage, among other modalities.
Important: Massage therapy is intended for relaxation, stress reduction, and complementary wellness support. It is not a substitute for medical care, diagnosis, or treatment by a licensed physician or other healthcare provider. If you have any medical concern, please consult your doctor before scheduling a session.
3. Eligibility
Clients must be at least 18 years old to book services independently. Minors may receive services only with the written consent and physical presence of a parent or legal guardian throughout the entire session.
4. Booking & Scheduling
Sessions are by appointment only. You may request a session by:
- Submitting the form on our Contact page; or
- Calling or texting (341) 260-6617.
A session is not confirmed until Lula personally responds to confirm the date, time, and service. Submitting a request does not guarantee availability.
5. Cancellation & No-Show Policy
We understand life happens. To respect Lula's time and other clients' access to appointments, please observe the following:
- Cancellations must be made at least [CANCELLATION WINDOW, e.g., 24 hours] in advance of your scheduled session.
- Late cancellations made less than [CANCELLATION WINDOW] before your appointment may be subject to a fee of up to [CANCELLATION FEE, e.g., 50% of the session price].
- No-shows may be charged the full session price and may be required to prepay for future sessions.
- Late arrivals: sessions will end at the originally scheduled time, and the full session price still applies.
6. Payment & Pricing
Current pricing is shared at the time of booking. Payment is due at the end of each session unless otherwise agreed in advance. We accept cash, Cash App, Apple Pay, Zelle, and major credit cards. Prices are subject to change with reasonable notice; the price quoted at the time you book is the price you will pay for that session.
Gratuities are appreciated but never required.
7. Health Disclosure & Informed Consent
For your safety, you agree to provide accurate and complete information about your health history, current medications, allergies, injuries, pregnancy status, and any medical conditions that could affect massage therapy. You understand that:
- Certain conditions may require physician clearance before receiving massage.
- You will inform Lula promptly if you experience discomfort, pain, or any adverse reaction during a session.
- You may stop or modify a session at any time for any reason.
- Massage may have side effects such as temporary soreness, fatigue, or emotional release.
- Withholding relevant health information may put your safety at risk and is done at your own risk.
8. Code of Conduct
Ultimate Blissful Massage provides only professional, therapeutic, non-sexual massage services. Sexually suggestive remarks, gestures, advances, or solicitations of any kind will not be tolerated.
If a client engages in inappropriate behavior, Lula reserves the right to immediately end the session, charge the full session fee, refuse future service, and report the incident to law enforcement when warranted.
We expect mutual respect, honest communication, and reasonable hygiene from all clients. We extend the same in return.
9. Confidentiality
All client information — including health history, conversation during sessions, and contact details — is held in confidence and used only to provide safe and effective care. See our Privacy Policy for full details on how information is collected, used, and protected.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by California law:
- Massage therapy is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose or any specific health outcome.
- You voluntarily assume the inherent risks of receiving massage, including but not limited to temporary discomfort, bruising, or aggravation of pre-existing conditions, and you agree that Lula Carter, CMT and Ultimate Blissful Massage shall not be liable for any such outcomes that are not the result of gross negligence or willful misconduct.
- In no event shall our total liability arising out of or related to these Terms or our services exceed the amount you paid for the specific session giving rise to the claim.
- This website and its contents are provided for general informational purposes only and do not constitute medical advice.
11. Website Content & Intellectual Property
All content on this website — including text, graphics, logos, photographs, and the "Ultimate Blissful Massage" name and lotus mark — is the property of Lula Carter or used with permission and is protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. 12. Website Use
